Chairperson of J&K Waqf Board & National Executive Member of BJP Dr Darakhsan Andrabi led the Tiranga Yatra held at Budgam by the Bharatiya Janata Party today. She was accompanied by party leader Ali Mohammad Mir, District leadership and activists of BJP. Amid sloganeering in honour of the national flag and the nation’s glory, the rally attended by people from all groups travelled through Budgam town and distributed Tri-colours to the local population also. Speaking to the media on the occasion Dr Darakhshan Andrabi said that it was a moment of honour for every citizen to be able to unfurl the national flag during Azadi Ka Amrit Mahotsav. “The days of anti-India rhetoric has ended in J&K now & Kashmir will again be a powerful centre of Indian ethos & culture,” said Dr Andrabi while speaking to the media during the rally. In reply to a question about the security scenario of Kashmir now, Dr Andrabi said that the security network is quite satisfactory and in command in J&K and the isolated incidents of violence should not be taken as a breach in the security grid.
