Hundreds of students attend mega event at Sports Stadium Budgam

BUDGAM, AUGUST 11: The Youth Services and Sports, Budgam in collaboration with Education Department Budgam today organized a mega event under the ongoing ‘Har Ghar Tiranga’ campaign at Sports Stadium Budgam.

The Deputy Commissioner (DC) Budgam, Shahbaz Ahmed Mirza was chief guest on the occasion, while as SSP Budgam Tahir Saleem Khan, ADDC Dr Akramullah Tak, ADC Dr Nasir Ahmad,  ACD, CEO, DYSSO and other officers from both civil and police administration were also present on the occasion.

Hundreds of students, holding National Flags in their hands, participated in the event with full enthusiasm and fervour.

On the occasion, the DC lauded the organizers for holding the event and appreciated students for their active role in making the ‘Har Ghar Tiranga’ campaign a big success in the district.

The participating students also took out a Tiranga rally and marched through the stadium on the occasion.

Pertinently, besides huge participation in Tiranga rallies, remarkable participation of students was witnessed in essay writing, debates, singing, painting and National Anthem singing competitions across all schools of Budgam.
