Weeklong Workshop on English Translation Skills concludes at GCW Udhampur

UDHAMPUR, AUGUST 07: The week long workshop on English Translation Skills organized by the Department of English, Government College for Women Udhampur concluded, here today.

The workshop intended to equip the students with practical and theoretical skills of Transportation in English. The workshop was conducted by eminent resource persons from different colleges and universities.

The College Principal Prof (Dr) Monika Sharma presided over the valedictory ceremony of the workshop. She congratulated the department for organizing the workshop and said that such skills should not be confined to their functionality rather extended to the philosophical and aesthetic levels.

Sharing their feedback about the workshop, the students said that this was a highly engaging and enriching experience for them.

E-certificates of participation were also presented to the students.

Prof. Tania Akhter, HOD, English was the convener of the event, while Dr. Meena Gupta coordinated it. Dr. Kamal Deep Kaur and Dr Sumit Sharma were the organising secretaries of the workshop.
