Srinagar :- On the directions of Divisional Commissioner Kashmir Mr Pandurang K Pole, IAS and in order to raise awareness regarding AGNIPATH SCHEME, a daylong workshops were held in all the 10 Distt of Kashmir Division. The workshops focused on highlighting the written test, physical test and other salient features of the Agnipath Scheme.
The session witnessed participation of youth from different parts of the Kashmir Division. Addressing the participants at the Workshop the Sainik Welfare Team Srinagar in collaboration with NCC Group HQ Srinagar and Army Recruiting Officer (ARO) Srinagar highlighted the significance of the Agnipath Scheme. They were also made aware about the registration process and eligibility criteria
The Team urged upon the youth to take part in the process of Agnipath Scheme to contribute in Nation building and its protection. The Team in their speech said the Agnipath Scheme would provide a good opportunity for building youth to become Agniveers to serve in the Armed Forces and to promote a younger profile of the Armed Forces. They said it would bring about a transitional shift towards a more tech savy and enthusiastic Armed Forces. The team said that Agniveers on completion of four years period will go to the society as disciplined dynamic and responsible citizens. They further said that Agnipath Scheme will have a significant positive impact on society and contribute greatly to the Nation. Senior Officers from civil administration besides Sainik Welfare Team Srinagar and large number of students, NCC Cadets and youth were also present in the workshops carried out at different Distts of the Valley.
