Rajouri admin sets 2000 per day target for AB-PMJAY registration

RAJOURI, JULY 28: Deputy Commissioner Rajouri, Vikas Kundal today asked the stakeholder departments to ramp up enrollment process to achieve 100 percent registration of people for flagship health benefit scheme AB-PMJAY.

He was chairing a meeting attended by PO ICDS, Shoket Mehmood Malik; DSEO, Sandeep Sharma; representatives of the State health authorities, CMO, Dr Abdul Hamid Zargar and AD Planning, Mohammad Rafi and other concerned officers.

Seeking a detailed report on the progress made under the scheme in the district, he asked for close coordination among the concerned departments and agencies.

The State Health Agency was directed to deploy more Arogya Mitras in sub-district hospitals of the district to facilitate the patients in a better manner.

The DC also set the target of registering 2000 beneficiaries per day to achieve cent percent registration. It was also decided that the VLEs would visit left out houses, if required.

Meanwhile, the DC also appealed to people of the district to get themselves registered under the AB-PMJAY scheme to avail the health care benefits under the scheme.
