DDC Shopian  reviews  District Capex Budget 2022-23, PRI Grants

SHOPIAN, JULY 28: The District Development Commissioner (DDC) Shopian, Sachin Kumar Vaishya today convened a meeting of officers to review the District Capex Budget 2022-23.

On the occasion, the sector wise progress  and physical and financial targets achieved till date under the district capex plan 2022-23 were  put forth before the chair by the Chief Planning Officer.

The DDC directed the officers to improve the performance, both on physical front and financial aspects.The progress made till date under  priority sectors including Jal Shakti, KPDCL, R&B, Education, Health, RDD, YSS and other sectors was also reviewed alongwith status of DDC, BDC and Panchayat  grants.

The DDC asked the officers of all line departments to work with dedication to further improve the public delivery system. He stressed on authorities to take all possible measures to accelerate the pace of ongoing works for their time-bound completion.

He hailed the performance of  R&B and Jal Shakti departments who played a pivotal role and worked hard for restoring essential services from time to time. He also directed Ex. Engineer Jal Shakti for further improvement of water supply.

The meeting among others was attended by Additional Deputy Commissioner, Shopian, Mushtaq Ahmed Simnani; Chief Planning Officer, Shopian, Khursheed Ahmed Khatana; ACD, Ex. Engineers and other District/ Sectoral Officers.
