DC B’pora reviews operations of e-Office in Revenue Offices of District

BANDIPORA, JULY 19: The Deputy Commissioner (DC) Bandipora, Dr Owais Ahmad on Tuesday chaired a meeting of officers to review the operation of e-Office in Revenue Offices of the district.

The DC reviewed in detail the preparations for making the offices paperless by switching over to e-Offices. During the meeting the officers informed the chair about the bottlenecks that hinder the progress of making offices  paperless.

Dr Owais directed the concerned officers to submit the requisitions for IT infrastructure required to implement operations of e-Offices.

Dr. Owais said the government is switching over to e-office mode of working and no physical files will be entertained after the offices are completely switched over to e-Office mode.

He urged the Heads of various departments to seek necessary assistance from National Informatics Centre so that offices turn paperless at earliest.

He said no laxity will be accepted in operations of e-Offices and warned of strict action against delay in operations.

The meeting was attended by Assistant Commissioner revenue Parvaiz Rahim, District Informatics Officer Malaram and  officials from revenue, planning and other concerned departments while SDM Gurez Dr Mudasir Ahmad, SDM Sumbal Dr Bashir Ahmad Lone, Tehsidlars and Naib-Tehsildars joined the meeting through video conferencing.
