NCC COMBINED ANNUAL TRAINING CAMP AT NAUGAM

Srinagar. 13 Jul 2022. Training of NCC cadets in Kashmir Valley is being conducted very effectively since Oct 2020. Organizing of training camps for the cadets in the valley has enabled the youth of border areas and hinterland to join the mainstream. To keep the momentum of training going, Brig K S Kalsi, Group Commander NCC Group Srinagar, directed 3 J&K Bn NCC Baramulla, to conduct yet another Combined Annual Training Camp in the higher reaches of North Kashmir. 265 NCC cadets both boys and girls of senior and junior divisons of all districts of Kashmir valley and few districts of Jammu are attending the CATC at Naugam from 12 to 21 Jul 2022 with all assistance of Security Forces.

Commander Security Forces at Naugam has been very forth coming to provide all assistance for the conduct of this camp. Aim of organizing this camp is to enable interactions of present NCC cadets with local youth of border areas to spread benefits of NCC. Avenues provided to the cadets who join the NCC are tremendous which will be conveyed to the local youth of the area around Naugam. This will enable the border area students and specially the girl students to join NCC. During the Camp the Cadets will be trained in physical fitness , drill, service subjects, community development programmes and social service. In recent past, Security Forces have gone out of their way to provide assistance in form of providing infrastructure, training facilities and security cover to enable smooth conduct of training camps being conducted by 3 J&K Bn NCC Baramulla for the NCC cadets of Kashmir region.
