Teenage girl’s body fished out from Jhelum in Noorbagh Srinagar after two days

The body of the 15-year-old girl was retrieved by sand extractors and river Police Srinagar at Palpora area of Noorbagh after hectic efforts, news agency KNO reported.

Srinagar, Jul 8: The body of teenage girl was retrieved from river Jhelum on Friday morning, two days after she jumped into the river at Cement Kadal in Noorbagh area, officials said.

The body of the 15-year-old girl was retrieved by sand extractors and river Police Srinagar at Palpora area of Noorbagh after hectic efforts, news agency KNO reported.

An official said that the body will be handed over to family after completing legal formalities.
