‘MULAKAT- E- AAM’ ORGANISED WITH VILLAGERS OF MANIGAH, KUPWARA BY INDIAN ARMY ON 25 JUNE 2022

An iteraction with locals was organized at Glassdaji, Manigah in Kupwara by Indian Army. A total of 135 people including BDC, sarpanches, ward members, ESM and youth leaders attended the event. Commander, 68 Mountain Brigade and Commanding Officer, 41 RR graced the meet. The meet started with opening address given by Mr Imtiaz Kataria, a youth leader.

Various issues concerning locals and youth in the area like ECHS for ESM, unemployment problems, upgradation of schools, training for recruitment rally, vacancies for porter recruitment, construction of road, medical camp, electricity issues and so on were put forth by the citizens before the Commander. All issues were discussed by Commander who assured all present that the Army will put forward best efforts to help the local population. He gave information on the various programs that are being initiated by the Army and also briefed about the Agnipath Scheme.

 

Commander expressed his gratitude towards the locals and youth for sharing their concerns and various other issues and also asked people not to allow anti national elements to disturb peace in Manigah.
