Ace of Spades Gunners Organise Ex Servicemen Meet at Mendhar ; Introduces Agniveer Scheme to the Ex Servicemen

An Ex Servicemen meet was organised by Mendhar Gunners in coordination with Zila Sainik Board Poonch under the Aegis of Ace of Spades Gunners at Mendhar on 23 June 2022.Meet was aimed at facilitating the resolution of issues faced by Ex Servicemen.

Ex Servicemen District President Sub Maj Mohd Akhlaq khan(Retd), Balakot Tehsil President Hony Capt Iqbal Khan (Retd), representatives from Zila Sainik Board Poonch along with 80 other veterans from surrounding villages of Mendhar attended the meet.

During the meet various issues being faced by Ex Servicemen were discussed and all necessary assistance and assurance for their speedy resolution was provided by representatives of Zila Sainik Board.

A lecture regarding “Agnipath Scheme” followed by an interactive question and answer session was also conducted at the meet.
Queries of local populace regarding the scheme were projected by Ex Servicemen and were satisfactorily resolved at the meet.

All Ex Servicemen present during the meet thanked Mendhar Gunners for organizing the meet and providing a platform to present their problems directly to the concerned authorities.
