Baramulla:23JUNE: Continuing with its efforts to encourage the youth of the Valley in sports activities, the Baramulla 46 Rashtriya Rifles organised a District Volleyball Tournament in Indoor Stadium, Govt Degree College, Baramulla.
The tournament witnessed nail biting cross court rallies between teams from Baramulla. While the teams were engaged in drops and smashes, local residents and students cheered them from all around.
The event will culminate on 25th June after three days of matches. The event will carry a message of positive and progressive change in the valley and a greater bonhomie between the Indian Army and citizens. A total of 28 teams including 12 girls and 16 Boys team registered for the event from Baramulla district.
The competition marked a huge success with the participation of a large number of teams and excited youth requested conduct of more such events in future.
