Srinagar, June 12: An unattended bag was found at Rawalpora in uptown Srinagar on Sunday morning, prompting authorities to suspend traffic on the Srinagar-Jammu highway.
Quoting official sources, news agency GNS reported that soon after the bag was spotted, police and CRPF rushed to the spot and subsequently called the Bomb Disposal Squad.
Traffic through the area has been suspended as a precautionary while BDS is on job, an official said.
