DLSA organises awareness program on ‘Physical & Mental health’ at Reasi

REASE, JUNE 11: Under the able aegis of NALSA and as per the Action Plan issued by the J&K Legal Services Authority (JKLSA) for the month of June, 2022  and also under the able guidance and supervision of Mr. R.N.Watal, Chairman, District Legal Services Authority, Reasi, District Legal Services Authority, Reasi today organised an awareness program on Physical and Mental Health  in collaboration with Department of Health, Reasi at Training Center, Old Hospital, Reasi.

Panel Advocate Shalendra Bhardwaj,  DHO Reasi, Ashok Kumar and Dr. Pooja (ENT Specialist) were the resource persons in the program.

Jogesh Raina District Accountant Manager, staff of CMO, BMO offices and also Plvs of DLSA Reasi participated in this programme.

Panel Advocate  Shalinder Bhardawaj delivered a lecture on NALSA (Legal Services to mentally ill and disabled  Persons), 2015 and Dr Pooja and counselor  Sakshi also delivered lectures on  both physical and mental health.

The objective of organizing  awareness camp was to raise awareness among the people about the NALSA  Scheme for mentally ill and disabled persons, 2015 and importance of physical and mental health besides different ways to improve physical and mental health.
