Bharat Scouts and Guides focusses on character training & preparation for good citizenship designed for the benefit of boys and girls, which instills a sense of responsibility and trustworthiness in them. It gives students opportunities for developing initiative, leadership and promotes self-control & self-reliance.
A total of 57 students (30 boys + 27 girls) of Hajipir Army Goodwill School have been enrolled for the same and today their training as per syllabus commenced. Bharat Scouts and Guides Team from Handwara organised first camp in the School for two days 07 & 08 Jun 2022. The team and Physical teacher Mr Bilal Ah Malik gave introduction and explained the benefits of scouts and guide. Bharat Scouts and Guides will be organising more camps in forthcoming months wherein the students will be given exposure to various activities like drill, basic craftsmanship and basic survival skills. The camps are likely to be held every quarter and regular activities will be carried out in school on a weekly basis.
This is first of its kind in this part of Kupwara and will motivate other schools to enroll their students and bring in a wave of discipline, self confidence and nationalism
