Former VC Welcomes 10  %   Fees Reduction by BGSBU

Jammu, 08/June/2022:  Dr Shazad Ahmed Malik, native of district Poonch, former Vice Chancellor of Sai Nath University and Chairman of Jammu and Kashmir Border Area Development Conference (JK_BADC) a registered organization working for the welfare of Border residents of Jammu and Kashmir  has welcomed the decision taken Baba Ghulam Shah Badshah University(BGSBU) Rajouri headed by its Vice Chancellor Prof. Akbar Masood, wherein the University administration has decided  10 percent  tuition fees reduction for all upcoming Academic Programmes.

Dr Shazad while appreciating this noble gesture of the university administration said this is a ‘Positive’ step  taken by the University administration  under the administration of Manoj Sinha L.G of  Jammu  & Kashmir union territory   who also happens to be  Chancellor of the varsity and  Prof. Akbar Masood, the VC of the University.

Dr Shazad also commended  the  Deans, Heads of different departments and other senior functionaries of the University who were also in favour and in fact who urged the VC to  approve this 10 %  reduction in the existing tuition fees for all Academic Programmes with effect from forthcoming academic session to make fees structure more affordable for all students belonging to all sections of the society.

The BADC Chairman also urged the Vice Chancellors  of other universities Kashmir and Jammu region to follow the suit and reduce their tuitions fees as per their existing  financial capacity to provide a sigh of relief to the students.
