The day we forget our culture and Heritage, it’s the day we head towards doomsday and destroy our future. Kashmir has always been known for a rich cultural heritage and traditions, hence was referred to as Jannat on mother earth. Keeping this in mind, a cultural festival programme was organised at Army Camp Gujjarpatti on the occassion of World Heritage Day.

The event was witnessed by around 175 citizen’s including the youth and the elder’s. The event commenced with the National Anthem followed by colourful heart touching scintilating performance by around 35 youth and debut local singer Younis Lolabi and his team.
The young minds were told about Kashmiriyat and how people of all religions, Hindu, Muslim, Sikh and Buddhist are involved in Kashmiriyat which is free of any religious bias.

In the end, the participants were felicitated with gifts followed by an informal interaction with the local citizens, in which they conveyed their gratitude to Indian army for organising such a colourful Kashmiriyat filled cultural heritage event .
