“On examination, it was found that an IED was there in a bag which was later on defused,” the official said.
Srinagar, Apr 14: Security forces defused an improvised explosive device (IED) in the Ghat area of J&K’s Doda district late Wednesday evening, police said.
Quoting a police official, news agency reported that soon after information of the suspicious material was received, police and CRPF rushed to the spot and sealed the area.
“On examination, it was found that an IED was there in a bag which was later on defused,” the official said.
Police have launched an investigation into the matter.(KNO)
