DAWAR. Continuing with the outreach program in Gurez valley, this time the realm of snow adventure and sports was promoted in the form of a Skiing Camp organised by the Indian Army at Dawar . The aim was to promote adventure activities in the form of winter sport in the valley .
36 indls across different age groups hailing from various villages participated in the camp, and learnt nuisances of snow skiing from a local instr. Participants depicted immense spirit for learning something new and explore themselves.
The camp proved to be a great tool for engaging youth in a constructive atmosphere. The locals requested IA to keep organizing such camps in future as well.
