Joint forces launched a cordon and search operation in Pakharpora area of central Kashmir’s Budgam district.
Sources told news agency that after receiving inputs about the movement of militants, joint forces including soldiers from 53 Battalion cordoned of Mohindpora village and launched a search operation.
The door-to-door searches were underway till the filing of this report.
The village is close to the territorial boundary of South Kashmir’s Pulwama district where an encounter and an attack on bank guard had taken place on Thursday.
