Indian Army Felicitates Famous Olympian cum Ace Skier Arif khan at Hyderbeigh Palhalan area of baramulla

The Ace Skier Arif Khan, National and South Asian Slalom Champion in the Alpine Skiing and the first and only Indian to directly qualify for two separate events in a Winter Olympics. Arif Khan represented India in Beijing Winter Olympics 2022. On the occasion he said that it is a dream to represent India at Beijing Olympics and I am highly satisfied that I have achieved thus feat.

It is to mention that Arif Khan who has brought great laurels and has become an inspiration for all young Kashmiris was felicitated by Indian Army on 26 Feb 2022.

He added that though he could not finish the race ,yet it was a dream to lead the Indian contingent.

The Olympian was felicitated by the Indian Army Authorities who wished him great success in all his future endeavors.
Mr Arif Khan expressed heartfelt gratitude towards Indian Army and remembered the teachings of his Army School days which made him a disciplined sportsmen which helped him in achieving great feat in a difficult sport of skiing.
