He congratulated SMC and the concerned Prajha Foundations and Azim premji Foundations on signing of MoU.
Mayor Srinagar Mr Junaid Azim Mattu who was the Guest of Honor while congratulating on signing of MoU said The Elected representatives of SMC will be trained by Praja Foundation and will also be developing an active platform called citizens participating platform which is a unique platform in India for the smooth functioning of all Municipal Corporations.
Mr Mattu said The aim is also to engage youth in participation of government works and assisting the Councillors to work better.
While presenting welcome adress Commissioner SMC Mr Athar Amir Khan on the occassion said that these MoU’s will be improving the urban governance in Srinagar as well as to improve the quality education in the Primary schools for the youth of Srinagar city.
