Sopore Police continuing its unwavering efforts to eradicate the menace of Drugs from the society, arrested four drug Peddlers and recovered contraband substances from their possession.
On a specific information I/C Police Post Warpora Inspector Mudasir Nazar laid down a naka at Warpora and intercepted two suspected persons and from their possession a bag containing 3168 Spasmo-Proxyvon Capsules was recovered. They has been identified as Nissar Ahmad Lone S/O Abdul Ahad Lone R/O Pethbugh Warpora and Rayees Ahmad Peer S/O Abdul Rasheed Peer R/O Nowpora Baramulla resident of Nowpora. They were arrested on spot and contraband substances were seized.
In this regard Case FIR No. 165/2021 U/S 8/22, 29 NDPS Act stands registered in Police Station Sopore and investigation taken up.
Similarly, 158 SPASMOPROXYVON Plus Capsules were recovered from the possession of Danish Bashir Mir S/O Bashir Ahmad Mir R/O Behrampora Rafiabad and Adil Ashraf Najar S/O Muhammad Ashraf Najar R/O Nowpora Baramulla. Case FIR No. 166/2021 U/S 8/22, 29 NDPS Act stands registered in Police Station Sopore . Further investigation of both the cases are going on.
This is in continuation to the efforts of Sopore Police to fight against the meance of Drug Abuse and Drug Peddling.
