Making these lines alive, the brave hearts of Srinagar Sector CRPF came together with Indian Red Cross Society, Srinagar and donated blood which were received by the government hospitals in Sringar. Keeping the COVID appropriate behaviour in mind, the blood donation camp was organised at four different camps of CRPF where men and officers alike, contributed generously to this noble purpose. Under the aegis of Srinagar Sector of CRPF, more than hundred volunteers came forward and donated 126 pints of blood. The representatives of IRCS J&K chapter, the doctors and technicians from local hospitals were present at all four locations. The medical officers and technicians of CRPF too lent their hands to this event. Ms. Charu Sinha, under whose guidance, this event was executed, congratulated all the volunteers and thanked IRCS J&K Chapter for coordinating the efforts. Mr. Kifayat Hussain Rizvi (IAS Retd.), chairman, IRCS, J&K Chapter, in the presence of Sh. D. S. Mann, DIG CRPF, at the location of 25 Bn, Bakshi Stadium, lauded the efforts of CRPF and conveyed that such donations go a long way in saving lives.
