1. Rouble Nagi Art Foundation, an NGO working in field of Art and Women Empowerment, under its unique initiative called Misaal Kashmir, in collaboration with the Indian Army, organised an art workshop for students of AGS, Hanzik on 02 Apr 2021. The Misaal Kashmir campaign intends to ignite the creative minds of students and connect with youth of Kashmir through art.
2. A total of 257 students of AGS, Hanzik participated in the workshop and unleashed their creativity by fabricating fascinating drawings and paintings. The workshop received overwhelming responses from students. The workshop was followed by a visit to Kriti, Women Empowerment Centre, Hanzik, a non-profit organisation run by Indian Army which imparts training on embroidery skills to local women of neighbouring villages. Rouble Nagi congratulated the women trainees of Kriti for their commendable work and motivated them to keep the spirits high.
3. The aim of the workshop is to encourage the creative young minds of the valley to foster constructive change & progress in the valley. The students of AGS, Hanzik and trainees of Kriti appreciated the event and emphasised on having such events for them frequently.
