January 05: The J&K APNI Party Media Advisor Farooq Andrabi expressed his profound concern over the situation raised after a spell of heavy snowfall across the district Budgam.
He said, “The wrath of snowfall has wreaked havoc on the common people. It has disrupted every day activities. I urge the Division and District administration to work in a spontaneous way so that the relief be delivered to the common masses”.
“It is also expedient that electric and water supply be made available during this time as most of the parts lurk in darkness. The snow should be cleared instantly from the roads and interior alleys so that no inconvenience is faced by the people” He added.
He further said, “Few days before I read a heart tearing news about a pregnant woman who had to be carried on a cot from her village towards the district hospital Bramullah. Our SDRF teams should have been ready for such situations and its here wherein their services are required”.
