Srinagar, August 31, 2024: J.K. Police Public School, Bemina Srinagar, celebrated its Annual Sports Day with much enthusiasm and energy, showcasing the school’s commitment to fostering a strong sporting culture. The event was graced by several distinguished dignitaries, including the Chairperson of J&K Police Wives Welfare Association (JKPWAA), Professor Rasmita Das Swain, Inspector General of Police Shri Sujit Kumar,IPS ,Principal Ma’am Ms. Snigdha Singh Chauhan, and Vice Principal Ma’am Ms. Pragati Pandey.
The day was filled with a variety of sports events that saw active participation from students across different grades, highlighting their athletic skills and team spirit. The presence of the esteemed guests made the occasion even more special and inspiring for the students.

Professor Rashmi Dashighlighted the value of sports in building character, resilience, and teamwork. She encouraged students to actively participate in sports, alongside their academic pursuits.
IGP Shri Sujit Kumar also stressed the significance of physical fitness and its direct impact on mental well-being. He urged the students to embrace sports as a vital part of their daily lives, reminding them that a healthy body is key to a healthy mind.
Principal Ma’am Ms. Snigdha Singh Chauhan, while addressing the gathering, reiterated the school’s dedication to promoting sports and physical education. She encouraged teachers to continuously motivate students to engage in sports, as it plays a crucial role in their growth and development.
