KUPWARA, AUGUST 17: The District Election Officer (DEO) Kupwara, Ms. Ayushi Sudan today chaired a meeting with representatives of various political parties here at the Meeting Hall of DC Office Complex Kupwara.
The objective of the meeting was to underscore the importance of adhering to the highest ethical standards outlined in the Model Code of Conduct, and other applicable guidelines of the Election Commission of India in view of the upcoming Assembly Election 2024.
Speaking at the occasion, the DEO called for strict implementation of Model Code of Conduct (MCC) and urged all Political parties for strict adherence to the guidelines of Election Commission of India.
She emphasized upon the representatives of political parties to seek prior permission for election campaigning and rallies through online mode to avoid any inconvenience.
NLMT (National Level Master Trainer), Sameer Jan on the occasion elaborated on different aspects of MCC.
Meanwhile, the representatives present at the occasion appreciated the efforts of District Administration for better cooperation during the conduct of last Lok Sabha Election especially in timely issuance of permission to the political parties.
