Srinagar, August 17:- Shri Mubassir Latifi, IPS, today assumed charge as the In-charge Deputy Inspector General of Police (Pers.) at Police Headquarters (PHQ), succeeding DIG Shri M Suleman Choudhary, IPS.
A formal handing over and taking over of charge ceremony was held between the officers.
Shri Latifi has served the department in various capacities including DySP SOG Sopore, DySP Hqrs. Jammu, SDPO Shopian, SDPO Nowshera, Addl SP Jammu, SP South Jammu, SP Ramban, SP Kulgam, SP Rajouri, SP Crime Jammu, AIG (Pers) PHQ, AIG (Prov/Tpt) PHQ, CO-IRP -15th Bn., and CO-IRP-10th Bn.
