Shopian, Aug 16 : A government teacher died, while another was injured after the vehicle they were traveling in met with an accident near the Largam area of South Kashmir’s Shopian.
Reports reaching said two government teachers were injured after the motorcycle they were traveling on hit another vehicle and collided.
They added that in the incident, both were shifted to the hospital, where one of them was declared dead on arrival, and the second person is being treated.
The duo was identified as Riyaz Ahmad Dar, son of Mohd Ibrahim Dar, a resident of Kundalan Shopian, while the injured person was identified as Sajad Ahmad Shah, son of Gh Mohd Shah, a resident of New Colony Largam Shopian.
Moreover, police have taken up the investigation.—(KB)
