Har Ghar Tiranga Rally with massive participation held at Anantnag

ANANTNAG, AUGUST 14: A massive Har Ghar Tiranga rally was on Wednesday held at Anatnag with thousands of people participating in it to celebrate the spirit of the tricolor.

The rally was flagged-off by the Deputy Commissioner (DC) Ananthag, Syed Fakhruddin Hamid from the Sports Stadium.

The rally, that started from the Sports Stadium Anantnag, passed through the main town with participants holding the national flag proudly and singing patriotic songs.

The rally was attended by senior government officials, public representatives, concerned citizens, and members of Trade associations. The patriotic fervour and enthusiasm was seen in every participant.

At the start of the rally, the DC administered pledge to the participants and paid tribute to the freedom fighters who have sacrificed their lives for the nation.

Notably, the Har Ghar Tiranga is an initiative of the Ministry of Culture and the idea behind the initiative was to invoke the feeling of patriotism in the hearts of the people and to promote awareness about the Indian National Flag.
