First ever Tiranga Concert held at Shopian, Scintillating patriotic cultural performances, highlights of the day

Shopian, 13 August; On the eve of upcoming 78th Independence Day celebrations, District administration Shopian today held first ever Tiranga Concert at Government Degree College,Shopian.

The local artists and students groups presented scintillating patriotic songs, dramatic and cultural performances in honour of the Nation and national heroes, paying tributes to the freedom fighters who envisioned to build a strong secular nation.

Following this, the participants and audience took a solemn pledge to uphold the values of the Constitution and continue working towards the betterment of the nation.

Adding to the fervor, the Tiranga Anthem was also played, further igniting a sense of patriotism among the attendees.

The event was graced by the presence of the ADC Shopian, Zakir Hussain Faaz, alongside police officers and district officers, who lauded the efforts of the organizers and participants.
