PULWAMA POLICE ARRESTS 03 THIEVES: RECOVERS STOLEN ITEMS

Pulwama, August 13: Pulwama Police successfully apprehended three individuals involved in a theft case following a complaint lodged on 09-08-2024 by Irshad Ahmad Dar, son of Gh Mohammad Dar, a resident of Lajoora Pulwama. The complaint was regarding the theft of a water pump from the under-construction Sheep Building at Dangerpora Pulwama.

Acting swiftly on the complaint, a case FIR No. 163/2024 U/S 331, 305 BNS was registered at Police Station Pulwama, and an investigation was promptly initiated.

During the investigation, the team from Police Station Pulwama rounded up three suspects: Sheraj Ahmad Bhat, S/O Gh Nabi Bhat, R/O Keller; Mehrooz Mushtaq, S/O Mushtaq Ahmad Dar, and Imtiyaz Ahmad Mir, S/O Mohd Qasim Mir, R/O Dangerpora. After sustained questioning, the suspects confessed to their involvement in the theft.

Subsequently, the stolen water pump was recovered based on their disclosure. The investigation into the case is ongoing.
