The order underscores the importance of maintaining a focused and uninterrupted learning environment, free from the distractions of mobile devices. It specifically directs Heads of Institutions (HOIs) to enforce this order strictly, ensuring that faculty members comply by keeping their phones off during school hours. However, the HOIs are permitted to keep their phones switched on to receive essential communications when required.

The circular warns of strict action against any teaching staff found violating the directive, with the Zonal Education Officer (ZEO) Tanghdar, along with Cluster Heads, tasked with ensuring the order’s compliance in both letter and spirit.
