In line with the ongoing Swachhta Pakhwada initiative, the Cluster Head of Model Higher Secondary School Sawjian, Anwar Khan, organized a vibrant Painting Competition and a meaningful Plantation Drive in Cluster Sawjian. These events were not only educational but also aimed at promoting cleanliness and environmental consciousness among students and the community.
The Painting Competition, held at Model Higher Secondary School Sawjian, saw enthusiastic participation from 12 talented students. The theme of the competition revolved around the various aspects of Swachhta Pakhwada, encouraging the young minds to express their understanding and creativity concerning cleanliness and hygiene. The event was meticulously supervised by Shabir Ahmed, Master, ensuring a fair and enriching experience for all participants.
The competition concluded with the awarding of prizes to the top three winners. Rizwana Akhter clinched the first prize for her outstanding portrayal of cleanliness, followed by Jameela Khatoon and Ayaz Ahmed, who secured the second and third prizes, respectively. Their artworks were a testament to the creativity and awareness among the students regarding the importance of cleanliness.
Simultaneously, a significant Plantation Drive titled “Ek Paed Shaheedon Ke Naam” was organized at the private Yaseen English School Sawjian. This event highlighted the importance of planting trees and preserving the environment as a tribute to the martyrs. The staff and students actively participated in this noble cause, planting trees within the school premises.
Anwar Khan, the Principal, set an inspiring example by planting a tree dedicated to the great martyr Bhagat Singh. His act symbolized the respect and remembrance of those who have sacrificed their lives for the nation. During his interaction, Anwar Khan emphasized the relevance of Swachhta Pakhwada and its importance in our daily lives. He highlighted how such initiatives contribute to a cleaner and greener environment, fostering a sense of responsibility among the younger generation.
Anwar Khan was accompanied by Parvez Khan, Lecturer, and Imran Khan, Teacher, who supported and participated actively in the plantation drive. Their involvement underscored the collective effort required to make such events successful and impactful.
Anwar Khan’s role as the Cluster Head was pivotal in the successful organization of these events. His leadership and dedication to the cause of Swachhta Pakhwada were evident in the meticulous planning and execution of both the Painting Competition and the Plantation Drive.
