Karnah // The army has officially inaugurated the Karnah Volleyball Championship at Nachiyan Higher Secondary School. A ceremony was held for this event, with the commanding officer of the artillery regiment serving as the chief guest, and the regiment’s 2IC (second-in-command) present as a guest of honor.
The event was attended by the Zonal Education Officer of Tangdhar Chamkote, Shah Mohammad, former ZRP Raja Nazir Ahmad Khan, former Sarpanch Khalid Shujaat Budhana, along with a large number of people and players.
Approximately 14 teams from the region are participating in this championship. On the first day, a match was played between the teams of Khudpara and Baghbala, with prizes distributed among the teams that showcased excellent performance.
It is noteworthy that such sports programs are being organized by the army in Karnah to keep the youth away from drug addiction. Regular events in volleyball, cricket, and football are held in Chamkote, Tithwal, and Tangdhar to ensure youth participation.
