Today, an impressive number of esteemed and prominent senior citizens have formally joined the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) in Srinagar. This significant event was orchestrated under the distinguished leadership of BJP District President Srinagar, Shri Ashok Bhat Ji.This influx of reputable individuals into the BJP’s fold may herald a shift in the political landscape of the region. The new members expressed their admiration for the BJP, extolling it as the largest organization globally, steadfast in its commitment to the peace and prosperity of the nation, transcending barriers of caste, creed, and religion. The BJP District Srinagar warmly welcomed the new entrants and assured them of unwavering support and assistance in all their future endeavors. In a ceremonious event held at the Bharatiya Janata Party District Headquarters J1 in Srinagar, the new members were administered the party’s oath by the honorable District President Shri Ashok Bhat. When questioned about their departure from a prominent regional party, the new members articulated that upon reflecting on the seventy-five years since India’s independence, the past ten years under Prime Minister Modi’s governance have been exemplary in numerous aspects. Be it infrastructure development, enhancing the living standards of the underprivileged, or improving road connectivity to Kashmir, Modi Ji’s vision and people-centric policies have been compelling reasons for their realignment. Conversely, they felt that their former party perpetuated familial rule in Jammu and Kashmir, sidelining the populace’s interests.Addressing the gathering, Shri Ashok Bhat Ji emphasized that the BJP stands as the sole relevant party in the current global context. He highlighted the remarkable developmental strides achieved under the Modi government’s nine-year tenure at the center, earning India recognition and respect on the global stage. He encouraged the newcomers by reiterating the party’s guiding principle, “Sabka Saath, Sabka Vikas, Sabka Vishwas” (Together with all, Development for all, Trust of all). Regard Saba ali
