Mehndi Art Competition under SVEEP held at KGBV Kupwara

Kupwara, Aug 2: In a bid to promote voter awareness and engagement, a Mehndi art competition was organized today by the students of KGBV Kupwara, as a part of the ongoing Systematic Voters Education and Electoral Participation program (SVEEP) for general assembly elections :2024.
This Competition was organized on the directions of the District Election Officer (DEO) Kupwara, Ms. Ayushi Sudan(IAS) to spread awareness among 7people, particularly young voters, for participating in the upcoming general assembly elections with enthusiasm.

Mehndi Art competition aimed to instill democratic values among newly eligible voters, with participants showcasing their artistic talents through intricate Mehndi designs. Female students of KGBV enthusiastically participated in the competition which served as a creative platform to deepen understanding and engagement with the electoral process, reinforcing the importance of every individual’s contribution to shaping the future of the nation through responsible voting.
