July 26,2023:Rousing welcome was given to the Commandant Officer 179 CRPF and his men as Students,Staff Members and Awqaaf Members & other important dignitaries of the area.

Locals thanked 179 CRPF for their continous endeavor towards People and hoped such camps will be held in future as well.

*Local Populace thanked the CRPF 179 BN as they hailed their efforts as regular medical medical camps are being held across various peripheries of Sopore Jurisdiction*

Today a 13th free medical camp under Civic Action Programme was organized by 179BN CRPF in GMS Gund-Brath Zaingair village in which Doctors of CRPF,GMC Baramulla & SDH Sopore doctors provided free Medical Checkup and Consultations to needy poor people. Free medicines, etc were also distributed to the locals of the nearby areas.

The programme was organized under the aegis of *Sh.V K Choudhary Commandant-179 Bn CRPF in presence of Sh.CMO 179 Dr Pravin Ranjan, 2-1/C,Shri Mange Ram Sharma,DC Ajeya Kumar,DC Bhupesh,Sub inspector Bus stand Sopore Basit Ahmad & other officers of civil administration,Police and 179 Bn CRPF Unit*.

The main objective of organizing the free medical camp under Civic Action Programme was to provide free medical checkup, consultation by well experienced Doctors to needy poor people, especially to women, children and immune compromised people of the area who are not able to see the doctors frequently, due to remote location of villages or other financial issues. While addressing to the beneficiaries & the visitors, *Shri.V K Choudhary Commandant 179Crpf*

179 Bn CRPF organized various free medical camps during last six months in various villages of Sopore and Zaingair Area.

179 Bn is committed to organize such programmes in near future as well”. *Shri V K Choudhary Commandant-179 Bn CRPF* also assured the beneficiaries general public to provide all possible help whenever and wherever required. If, required service of Doctors will be provided for general public at their doorsteps. He also informed people about CRPF Madatgar scheme and toll free No. 14411.

Poor and needy people and helped by providing experience medicines, sewing Machines, Books etc under CRPF Madatgar scheme.The officer while thanking all the beneficiaries and the visitors wished for the peace, prosperity and development of Kashmiris and seeking co-operation and coordination from general public to solidify the relation between the Security Forces and the general public. The locals after getting free medical checkup and consultation by the Unit Doctors and free medicines & other items, warmly thanked the CRPF & lauded the matchless efforts made for welfare of local public.
