Srinagar, July 22 (KS):- A cop who was injured in a road accident Mir bazar area of South Kashmir two days ago succumbed to injuries on Monday.
An official told News Agency Kashmir Scroll that an accident occurred on Saturday at NHW-44 near Malpora Mir Bazar when a speeding Tempo with registration number JK02AT-0730 hit HC Ab Rashid age about 52 yrs who was performing Yatra duty.
He said that in the incident the cop was critically injured and shifted to GMC Anantnag for treatment where he was referred to skims soura for further treatment where he succumbed to injuries.
Meanwhile police have taken cognizance of the incident and started an investigation.(KS)
