Chairperson of J&K Waqf Board, Dr Syed Darakhshan Andrabi today participated as Chief Guest in a very significant event organised by J&K Waqf Board at Pir Ki Gali on famous Mughal Road after taking over the management of the Sufi Shrine of Qadir Sahib (RA) here. Dr Andrabi was accompanied by Waqf Executive Officer Shopian Javid Qadiri, SDPO Shopian and the Concerned SHO. The management of this Sufi shrine was taken over by the Board recently in consideration of the persistent demand of the local population from both the divisions of J&K. “I thank the people for their support and their trust in the Board. The Board considered the demand of the people & took over the management of the shrine. I thank the Administration and the Police authorities for their exceptional support in making it possible”, said Andrabi. She said that J&K Waqf Board will ensure a transparant management of the shrine. “All requisite developments will be done here. Plans for developing facilities for the visitors and devotees will be made and executed soon”, assured Chairperson of the Board
