BJP Unit Srinagar reaches out to Bohri kadal Fire victims

Srinagar, BJP District President Srinagar Shri Ashok Bhat visited Bhori Kadal area of down town where few day back a Masjid and a number of residential houses gutted in fire.

Today Shri Ashok Bhat, District President Bharatiya Janata Party District Srinagar accompanied by Mr. Hilal Wani, Ms Saba Ali and Mr. Aasif visited Bhori Kadal area of down town were a few days back number of residential houses and a Masjid gutted in fire. The fire has started from the masjid and took a number of surrounding houses in it’s enshroudings.

After taking stock of the site Shri Ashok Bhat said, that loss due to the fire is in crores and most of the houses have suffered a damage of more than 80 percent. These houses are now unlivable. Though the government has given some relief to the effected people But that is not enough for them to stand again. He requested the concerned authorities to provied generous compensation to the effected people so that they are relieved from this instant loss.

He further criticized the disaster management agency for not rehabilitating the effected people some where till date.

He said, the agency sould be always ready for rehabilitation plan in all such exigencies. Also the cause of fire needs an enquiry so that such incidents are averted in future.
