INDIAN ARMY ‘DARE DEVILS’ MOTORCYCLE RIDERS TEAM PERFORMS AT KALAPAHAR GROUND IN URI
Srinagar, 18 June 24: The Motorcycle Display Team of the Indian Army delivered a scintillating performance of their skills at Kalapahar Ground in Uri. The event was part of the Kargil Vijay Diwas Rajat Jayanthi Samaroh being celebrated nationwide this year and was dedicated to our Kargil War Heroes. The event also coincided with the 52nd Raising Day of Kalapahar Brigade of the Dagger Division of Chinar Corps. The event was attended by senior military commanders and dignitaries of the civil administration.
True to their title of ‘Dare Devils’, the team displayed breath-taking formations, tremendous courage, teamwork, discipline and adventurous spirit. The Dare Devils are famous for their Bike Riding skills & are one of the few coveted teams that find their names mentioned in several books of record.
The event took into its fold the Awam of Uri, as they witnessed an exhilarating performance. Their performance won accolades from military and civilian guests alike. The event was witnessed by over 2500 people, including local residents of Uri and nearby villages and the students of the Army Goodwill School. It was a true reflection of the character of armed forces & ever improving civil-military fusion in Chinar Corps Zone.
