Ex-MLC Karnah Javaid Ahmad Mirchal, Khalid Shuja Badhana and Beoparmandal President Haji Tasleem Mir were among the key speakers.

The discussion highlighted the critical concern of electricity bills amounting to Rs. 750 or more, placing a heavy burden on the residents of Karnah.

Leaders emphasized the urgent need for collective action to protect the vulnerable community from these oppressive charges.
An appeal was made to all leaders of Karnah to unite on a single platform to address the electricity bill crisis.

Local authorities were urged to prioritize the installation of electricity meters in Karnah.

Haji Tasleem Mir stated that the community faces significant economic challenges due to their geographical isolation, further compounded by the high electricity bills.

Ex-MLC Karnah Javaid Ahmad Mirchal called for peaceful protests against the Power Development Department (PDD), demanding the installation of meters and opposing any increase in electricity bills.

The speakers emphasized the community’s right to raise their voice for their betterment and demand fair treatment regarding utility charges.
