Government Degree College Magam today inaugrated ten days Yoga camp aimed at promoting holistic health and well-being among students and faculty.

The inauguration ceremony, saw the participation of Faculty members and students of the college.

Speaking at the occasion, Convenor Soprts and Head Department of Vommerce, GDC Magam, Prof. Syed Idrees Ahmad, highlighted the significance of incorporating Yoga into daily life, especially amidst the current global health challenges. He emphasized the importance of Yoga in fostering mental and physical resilience, enhancing concentration, and promoting overall wellness.

The ten-day camp will feature daily sessions conducted by certified Yoga instructors, covering a range of practices including Asanas, Pranayama, Meditation, and relaxation techniques. Participants will have the opportunity to learn and experience the profound benefits of Yoga under expert guidance.

Expressing her support for the initiative, Dr. shabana Ali Head Department of Management studies GDC Magam, emphasized the role of Yoga in alleviating stress and anxiety, particularly in the academic environment. She encouraged students and staff to actively participate and make the most of this unique opportunity.
