Adil Hamid Qureshi, a teacher at the school, provided a detailed explanation of e-waste, its hazards, and methods for its management and minimization. His presentation, supported by a PowerPoint slideshow, effectively conveyed the crucial aspects of e-waste management to the attendees.

The program was attended by 175 students and 22 staff members. In his address, Principal Anwar Khan defined electronic waste (e-waste) as a broad term encompassing all types of old, end-of-life, or discarded electrical and electronic equipment, including household appliances, office information and communication equipment, entertainment and consumer electronics, lighting equipment, and electric and electronic tools.

Other speakers at the event included Mohd Shafi, Jagandeep Singh, Zakki ur Rehman, and Jyoti Jamwal, who each contributed insights on the topic. The program concluded with a question-and-answer session, addressing the students’ queries and fostering a deeper understanding of e-waste management.

This initiative reflects the school’s ongoing commitment to environmental education and sustainable practices.
