DR. Mushtaq A Rather, Director Health Services Kashmir, along with the Yatra Unit of the Directorate of Health Services Kashmir, visited the Baltal base camp site today to review preparations for the upcoming Shri Amarnath Ji Yatra 2024.

A key focus of the visit was the inspection of a 100-bed hospital, which is set to be operational during the Yatra. Dr. Rather conducted a thorough meeting with all stakeholders involved in the hospital’s construction and emphasized the importance of its timely completion.

During his visit, Dr. Rather also inspected the First Aid Centre, which has been established for the advance team. He expressed his satisfaction with its readiness and the efforts of the health care workers.

Additionally, Dr. Rather visited the Nilgarth and Domail,Rail pathri sites as well. He directed all accompanying health officers and officials to implement a robust and foolproof mechanism to ensure a superior healthcare delivery system is in place.

Dr. Rather reviewed the action plan presented to him and instructed all officers and stakeholders to work diligently to ensure that all health institutes are fully prepared well in advance of the SANJY 2024. He highlighted the importance of seamless coordination among all parties involved to guarantee the availability of comprehensive healthcare services for the pilgrims.

The Director’s visit signifies the commitment of the Health Services Kashmir to provide safe and efficient healthcare services during the Yatra, ensuring the well-being of all pilgrims.
