Police organizes 05-days workshop on New Criminal Laws in Budgam

May 27: “`Police in Budgam organised a 05-days workshop on ‘New Criminal Laws’ at the Recreation hall of DPL Budgam for officers/officials of District Police Budgam. The program was attended by about 50 Investigation Officers (Ios) of the district of Budgam.

The workshop, initiated with an aim to equip officers/officials with the essential understanding of the new criminal laws by the Central Government. The workshop was structured in such a way that the essence of the new laws is imparted on the IOs and they get a practical understanding on the application of these laws.

The lectures were given by DySP Hqrs Shri Saquib Gani -JKPS, Shri Ab Rashid Dar Sr. PO, Incharge PP Soibugh. The highlight of the workshop was that the participants were involved in interactive discussions enhancing the practical knowledge of these new laws.

This initiative underscores the Commitment of Police to provide comprehensive and relevant training to its personnel, ensuring they are upto date with the laws and excel in their enforcement.“`
