Srinagar, May 19, 2024 – The Kashmir Advocates Association has strongly condemned the barbaric twin terrorist attacks that rocked Anantnag and Shopian Districts of South Kashmir late on the night of May 18, 2024. The attacks, resulting in the tragic loss of one life and leaving two tourists gravely injured, have sparked outrage and calls for justice.

In a resounding denouncement, the Association labeled the attacks as cowardly and vile assaults on innocent civilians, branding the perpetrators as enemies of humanity. They emphasized that such acts not only target individuals but also strike at the heart of Kashmiriyat and the vital tourism industry, upon which many livelihoods depend.
