REASI, MAY 16: Additional District Magistrate, in exercise of powers vested under section 144 Cr.PC has prohibited the transportation of bovine animals within the jurisdiction of District Reasi, without seeking permission from the District Magistrate.
The order shall come into force with immediate effect and shall remain in force for a period of two months. However, it shall not apply in case of transportation of bovine animals by the Government departments for departmental purposes.
Any violation of this order shall invite punitive action under section 188 of Indian Penal Code.
